Bay Area Champions is more than a small-sided soccer league. It is a community of footballers with passion for the beautiful game.
Bay Area Champions was built on the idea that the city of San Jose, and nearby cities, need more places for footballers of all ages and skill levels to play the beautiful game.
Our goal is to provide more playing opportunities for the community by organizing leagues, pickup games, and eventually create an 11-a-side team, or partner with a local amateur team to scout players for them.
We want to use the Bay Area Champions as a way for players to enjoy the game in a friendly environment, but still at a fairly competitive level, while having the opportunity to be seen by a higher level team.

Our mission is to build an inclusive soccer community where players of all ages and skill levels can compete, grow, and enjoy the game in a supportive yet competitive environment. Through accessible leagues and pickup games, we aim to expand opportunities for players and cultivate a lifelong passion for the sport within our community.
Our vision:
We envision Bay Area Champions as the premier small-sided soccer community in San Jose, providing accessible, competitive, and inclusive opportunities for players of all levels. Our long-term goals include:
- Building the Best Small-Sided League: Establish a top-tier weekend league with enough team to split the league in two
- Expanding Weekly Leagues: Expand into coed and womens leagues in the future.
- Reviving Pickup Culture: Organize regular pickup games to give more playing opportunites for players, espcially those who cannot afford pay-to-play american soccer
- Creating Pathways to Higher Levels: Form or collaborate with an amateur men’s team to compete locally while using our leagues as a scouting and development platform for aspiring players.
Through these initiatives, we aim to grow the game, strengthen our soccer community, and provide more opportunities for players to play, compete, and improve.
